Korea, U.S. to hold follow-up talks on Technology Prosperity Deal

Korea and the United States held their first follow-up talks on Thursday to flesh out the small print of an settlement signed final yr on expertise cooperation, the Ministry of Science and ICT stated.

 

The assembly, held nearly, marked the launch of a working group on the Technology Prosperity Deal, signed on the sidelines of a Korea-U.S. summit in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang, in October 2025, when the international locations’ leaders attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.

 

 

“During the first official meeting, the two countries discussed the structure and operation of the working group, as well as final goals and areas of cooperation through related activities,” the Science Ministry stated in a launch.
