KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas Senate handed a bill to create a sports authority, a board that might oversee a brand new stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, and a staff headquarters in Olathe.
The laws is written for knowledgeable staff within the National Football League.
The Kansas Senate handed the bill 30-10 on the night of Friday, March 27, the place adjustments had been made. This bill then went to the House, the place it was handed 78-44.
The Chiefs insist on their new amenities being owned by the general public, not the staff. This sports authority is required to make that occur.
The bill is now headed to Governor Laura Kelly’s desk.
