Jamaat Ameer urges Islamic scholars to acquire knowledge on science and tech
DHAKA, Oct 4, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has known as on the Islamic scholars and Alems to acquire experience on trendy science and expertise.
“Alems are entrusted with the duties to lead and show the path to the nation, and for this they must acquire knowledge on modern science and technology to reach the message of Islam to the people irrespective of religion, race or caste,” he stated.
He was addressing because the chief visitor at a Dayee and Waez convention held at Al Falah Auditorium at Mogbazar right here right this moment.
Mawlana Abdul Halim, Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and President of the celebration’s Central Ulama Committee presided over the convention.

In his speech, the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer requested the Waez not to be impolite or aggressive urging them to be compassionate to the individuals following the beliefs of Prophet Mohammad (Sm).
“You all are entrusted with the responsibilities and we must remember this duty with honesty bearing the sense of strict accountability,” Dr. Shafiq stated.
He urged Islamic scholars not to have interaction in any self-destructive actions that will trigger self-degradation or hurt the social unity.
Prominent Islamic preachers and dayees from throughout the nation participated within the convention.
Former Principal of Ta’mirul Millat Kamil Madrasa Mawlana Zainul Abedin, Chairman of the Trustee Board of Bangladesh Islami University Mawlana Syed Kamal Uddin Jafri, and former Principal of Gopalganj Alia Madrasah Mawlana Abdul Hamid, amongst others, spoke within the convention.
