Iranian gunboats fired on tanker, shipping body says as Iran reimposes restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz
Iran’s navy says restrictions on the passage of ships via the Strait of Hormuz are being reimposed, alleging “repeated breaches of trust” by the United States within the two sides’ ceasefire. NCS’s Nic Robertson reports the latest, together with Iranian Revolutionary Guards gunboats firing on a tanker touring via the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, in line with an advisory from the UK Maritime Traffic Organization (UKMTO).
