Intel is in early talks to add AMD as a foundry buyer, Semafor reported on Wednesday, citing individuals acquainted with the matter.
AMD didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark, and Intel declined to remark.
Semafor didn’t report particulars of any potential deal. Reuters reported in April that AMD was evaluating Intel’s manufacturing know-how.
