Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology is strengthening collaboration with Turkiye in larger schooling, science, know-how, and the downstreaming of strategic home industries.

This was revealed throughout a gathering between the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Indonesia, Talip Küçükcan, in Jakarta on Monday (May 18).

“We will make various adjustments to strengthen cooperation in higher education, including the development of study centers, research programs, Indonesian and Turkish language and culture learning, and stronger collaboration in technology and innovation,” the minister famous in a press release on Tuesday.

Yuliarto views worldwide cooperation as a vital a part of reworking Indonesian larger schooling to adapt to world challenges and future technological wants.

During the assembly, the Turkish Ambassador emphasised that Indonesia is a crucial strategic accomplice for Turkiye in each larger schooling growth and future know-how.

“Regarding innovation, development, and technology, we need more lecturers with PhDs. We can collaborate on various priorities, from technology and health to social sciences,” Ambassador Küçükcan mentioned.

The two events adopted up on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on larger schooling cooperation signed between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Technology and the Council of Higher Education of Turkey on February 12, 2025, in Bogor.

The collaboration covers a number of strategic areas, together with scholar and lecturer mobility, joint analysis, academic exchanges, the event of joint and double-degree packages, the strengthening of upper schooling boards, and technological innovation.
