Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology is exploring strategic partnerships with the University of Oxford to strengthen higher education, analysis, and health providers in Indonesia.

The discussions happened throughout a gathering between Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Brian Yuliarto and an Oxford delegation in Jakarta on Friday.

“We sincerely hope this meeting marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between Indonesia and the University of Oxford, particularly in strengthening higher education, research, and health technology development,” Minister Yuliarto stated in an announcement on Sunday.

He added {that a} major focus is the plan to determine built-in medical colleges throughout numerous areas of Indonesia.

This initiative goals to broaden entry to healthcare, enhance the standard of medical professionals, and scale back the general public’s reliance on looking for medical remedy overseas.

“Following the president’s directives, we plan to construct ten medical faculties across various islands in Indonesia, integrated with world-class teaching hospitals,” Yuliarto remarked.
