The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is internet hosting a digital art show across each its Hong Kong and Guangzhou campuses, showcasing creativity by Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and AI applied sciences.
Billed as “the world’s first large-scale, cross-regional MR × AI digital art exhibition,” SURREALITY Mixed Reality (MR) × Artificial Intelligence (AI) Digital Art Cross-City Exhibition is a part of HKUST’s Thirty fifth-anniversary celebrations.
The exhibition options the combination of AI-generated artworks with the bodily campus atmosphere, delivering an immersive expertise powered by spatial computing and real-time rendering applied sciences.
Across the 2 campuses, practically 50 works by greater than 70 digital artists from the United States, Germany, Russia, Australia, Bolivia, Singapore, Korea, Chinese mainland, and Hong Kong are on show.
Visitors will want VR gear to benefit from the show, which can run by July 31.
