Wheeling Park’s Andrew Pennybacker strains up a putt on Thursday at Eaglesticks in The Circle K Invitational. The Patriots completed fourth within the match area.

ZANESVILLE – Multiple native groups traversed I-70 on Thursday to play in The Circle K Invitational, hosted at Eaglesticks Golf Club.

Wheeling Park, St. Clairsville and Wheeling Central participated, with Wheeling Park ending fourth as a staff, St. Clairsville eighth, and Wheeling Central tenth.

Wheeling Park compiled a staff rating of 307, with Andrew Pennybacker carding a 74, Will Koegler a 75, Seth Weidner a 77 and Owen Abraham an 81.

St. Clairsville’s squad completed with a 315, led by Mavrik Malin’s 73. Ryan Mooney shot an 80, Beau Mooney an 81, and Mason Conway one other 81.

Wheeling Central’s prime performer was Rowen Parker with a 76, adopted by Isaac Tiu’s 79, Conner Ball’s 80 and Bode Burge’s 81, totalling a staff rating of 316.

The Patriots’ Pennybacker and Red Devils’ Malin made the minimize for the All-Tournament staff.

Brooke Tops Toronto, Trinity

WELLSBURG – The Bruins got here out on prime towards the Red Knights and Warriorst in a tri-match Thursday at Highland Springs Golf Course.

The Bruins completed the Par 72 course with a staff complete of 326, adopted by Toronto’s 404 and Trinity’s 452.

The outing’s medalist was Brooke’s Max Malinky with a 76. He was adopted by Parker McMahon and Andre Patrella, both of whom carded an 83, and Zach O’Mery, who carded an 84.

Hank Bodner shot a 98 to guide Toronto.
