The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Management Board and tech corporations Saolatek, Real-time Robotics Vietnam, and Di Dong Viet, has kicked off a pilot programme utilizing unmanned aerial autos (UAVs) for delivery services.

The pilot is to be carried out underneath a flight allow issued by the Operations Department underneath the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, legitimate from January 1 to December 31, 2026, and absolutely complies with rules on flight administration, aviation security, nationwide defence, safety and social order.

The programme is a part of a managed sandbox for testing new UAV-related applied sciences throughout the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, according to Resolution No. 20/2024/NQ-HDND of the municipal People’s Council.
