In a lift to India’s rising personal space ecosystem, the Gujarat authorities and the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe) have introduced a collaboration to develop superior Common Technical Facilities (CTF) on the proposed Space Manufacturing Park in GIDC Khoraj. The initiative, unveiled through the tenth version of IN-SPACe Industry Connect, is predicted to strengthen Gujarat’s place as main hub for space know-how and manufacturing.
The partnership varieties a key element of Gujarat’s Space Tech Policy (2025-30), beneath which the state has earmarked 50 acres of land for the devoted Space Manufacturing Park, with scope for enlargement to 100 acres sooner or later. The facility will cater to the wants of space startups, MSMEs and established aerospace corporations by offering entry to high-end testing and validation infrastructure.
Under the settlement, IN-SPACe will present technical experience whereas the Gujarat authorities will help the event, building and operation of the park. The proposed facility will home cleanrooms, thermo-vacuum chambers, vibration testing programs, local weather chambers, amongst different services for Earth Observation optics.
