Swedish local weather activist Greta Thunberg has launched a pre-recorded video calling for the discharge of her and the others who had been captured. Israeli forces have intercepted boats within the Global Sumud Flotilla which aimed to ship support to Gaza. Flotilla organizers labeled Israel’s interception of the ships “an illegal attack” on humanitarians, whereas Israel stated the activists had been “not interested in aid, but in provocation.”
