Korea will unveil a method to foster a researcher-friendly ecosystem for analysis and growth (R&D) actions in superior applied sciences next month, the Ministry of Science and ICT mentioned Wednesday.
 
Science Minister Bae Kyung-hoon met with researchers at Seoul National University on the day to focus on methods to enhance the nation’s R&D ecosystem forward of the announcement of the blueprint, in accordance to the Science Ministry.
 
 
“It is important to create an R&D ecosystem with ceaseless innovation, backed by nationwide reforms driven by AI and cutting-edge technologies,” Bae mentioned.
 
“The government will promote genuine growth driven by science and technology by releasing the innovative plan in September, allowing universities, state-funded research institutes and businesses to focus on their fundamental roles,” Bae added.
 
During the assembly, researchers requested the federal government to enhance predictability in its R&D insurance policies and carry laws to ease administrative burdens on researchers.
 
They additionally proposed that the federal government enhance its analysis system for state-funded tasks, whereas calling for efforts to commercialize their achievements.
