Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has set up a working group to
oversee the development of strategic technologies, led by Deputy Prime Minister
Ho Quoc Dung, in line with a report from the Government News.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung will likely be assisted by
Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan as deputy head of the working
group.
Members of the working group embrace: Minister of Finance
Ngo Van Tuan, Minister of Justice Hoang Thanh Tung, Minister of Industry and
Trade Le Manh Hung, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung,
Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son, Minister of Construction
Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of National
Defense Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Minister of Public Security Dang Hong Duc,
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang, and Director General of the Digital
Transformation-Cipher Affairs Department below the Office of the Party Central
Committee Ngo Hai Phan.
The working group shall be accountable for advising the
Prime Minister on addressing main inter-sectoral points associated to the
development of strategic technologies.
It shall put ahead lists of strategic technologies,
strategic technological merchandise in addition to mechanisms and insurance policies for the
development of strategic technologies.
The Ministry of Science and Technology shall be the standing
physique of the working group.
