“We want the results of research and scientific knowledge development to go beyond just ending as knowledge. We aim to push further so that these research efforts and developments can contribute economically,” Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto, remarked right here on Thursday.
The minister underscored the federal government’s dedication to making sure that analysis performed by the nation’s abilities helps resolve numerous issues within the industrial sector.
“This is a convention of scientists. Some 1,066 top STEM researchers attended, along with 401 university rectors and vice-rectors from public and private universities, 351 STEM lecturers, 26 members of the diaspora, doctoral students, professors, and academic senates,” he acknowledged.
On this event, Yuliarto defined {that a} roadmap for analysis and technological innovation in Indonesia shall be developed, alongside the exhibition of over 400 analysis merchandise linked to the commercial sector.
Through this initiative, he expressed hope that home analysis merchandise can be upgraded and ultimately result in the emergence of recent science and technology-based industries.
“This convention is also attended by two Nobel laureates. It is an honorable moment, as we seek to draw inspiration from how world-class research is. We want to encourage Indonesian researchers and scientists to dream big and take inspiration from the Nobel laureates,” Yuliarto affirmed.
KSTI 2025 is held on August 7-9, 2025. The occasion brings collectively greater than 350 college leaders from throughout Indonesia and one thousand of the nation’s high researchers.
