MECHANICSBURG — The Hollidaysburg Area High School football team had four players chosen for the 2026 East-West All-Star football recreation on Tuesday.
The group will play for the West team.
Picked for the sport had been offensive linemen Austin Harr and Jackson York, quarterback Cole DeLattre and linebacker Josh Banks.
Banks will play at Penn State this fall as a most well-liked walk-on, Harr goes to IUP for football and York goes to Bloomsburg for football.
Other notable names chosen had been Clearfield cornerback Xavier Curry and DuBois extensive receiver Jaxson Hanzely. Two notable assistant coaches are Myles Caragein of Clearfield and Shane Breon from Mifflin County.
The head coach for the West is Gerard Yonchiuk out of Central York High School.
The recreation can be performed on Sunday, May 17, at 5 p.m. at Chapman Field at Cumberland Valley High School.
