The room

The yellow mattress is framed by the authentic floral silk wall coverings, completely reprinted for this venture by Sekers, in collaboration with Sanderson Design Group, and topped by a mattress cover made out of re-woven imperial yellow Ottoman silk. Lying in the plush mattress, my eyes uncover new curious details with each blink – the gilded cherubs on the wall sconces, dangling crystals above the bedside mild, a classic fragrance atomiser on the dresser. Even the TV distant has been lined in gilded glass.
Outside the bed room is a duck egg blue sitting room, the place a fuchsia pink chaise lounge is completely framed by matching fuschia tasseled drapes. It’s a setting worthy of a Jane Austin novel, a royal portrait sitting, a film star journal cowl, or in my case – a cellphone selfie.
There are a complete of 16 wall mirrors inside the suite, not together with the rest room which is totally lined in mirrored glass, with the ceiling lined with gilt scalloped shells.
