Scientists working in the Amazon rainforest have discovered a new species of snake, rumored to be the most important in the world.

A group from the University of Queensland traveled to the Ecuadorian Amazon to seek for the beforehand undocumented northern inexperienced anaconda (Eunectes akayima), following an invite from the Waorani individuals to look at anacondas “rumoured to be the largest in existence,” in keeping with the scientists.
