(NCS) — Anthony Geary, who portrayed Luke Spencer on ABC cleaning soap opera “General Hospital” for nearly 40 years in practically 2,000 episodes, has died. He was reportedly 78.

The information was confirmed by “General Hospital” media relations and ABC. NCS has reached out to Geary’s representatives for remark.
