All U.S.-based SMMs are eligible to use, in partnership with universities, institutes, and different non-profit organizations. Selected groups will work with workers from a number of DOE National Laboratories to advance their materials designs and resolve their manufacturing challenges.

DOE’s High-Performance Computing for Manufacturing (HPC4Mfg) program, a part of the High-Performance Computing for Energy Innovation (HPC4EI) initiative, is funded by each DOE’s Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) and Industrial Technologies Office (ITO).
