Fujitsu Limited and the Global Research and Development Center for Business by Quantum-AI technology (G-QuAT) on the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) right now introduced the signing of a collaboration agreement to strengthen international industrial competitiveness in quantum technology. The agreement, signed on September 26, 2025, goals to improve cooperation between the 2 organizations, thereby boosting Japan’s standing globally in this sector.

As a part of the agreement, Fujitsu and G-QuAT will leverage their mixed sources, together with quantum computer-related applied sciences, manufacturing and analysis services, and will promote analysis and growth and personnel change. In this fashion, the partnership goals to foster international collaboration and analysis cooperation, finally contributing to sustainable financial development.

Scaling up quantum computer systems requires the mixing of numerous elemental applied sciences and the excellent verification and optimization of the whole quantum laptop system. To handle this problem, the 2 organizations will promote analysis cooperation, together with the event of supporting environments and demonstration of applied sciences obligatory for large-scale superconducting quantum computer systems, maximizing the usage of G-QuAT’s services and its hub perform for international collaboration. Through this initiative, the companions purpose to set up the prevalence of Japan’s quantum computing technology, together with that of element producers, and actively put it up for sale globally to foster growth into the international market.
