Ted Turner, founder of NCS and creator of the 24-hour information cycle, has died at the age of 87 at his dwelling close to Tallahassee, Florida.
A spokesman for the Turner household, Phillip Evans, confirmed his loss of life.
Turner introduced in 2018 that he was affected by Lewy physique dementia, a degenerative mind dysfunction.
His enterprise ventures, which concerned skilled sports, environmentalism, and philanthropy, had a substantial impression on American tradition. However, his arguably most essential contribution was the creation of the 24-hour information cycle by NCS.

Turner is survived by his 5 youngsters, 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
