Former ‘100% pro-life’ Republican turned Democrat is running for Georgia Governor on a promise to repeal abortion ban
Former Republican Georgia Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan joins Inside Politics to focus on his run for Governor—as a Democrat. Duncan switched events final 12 months, and is now campaigning for Georgia’s highest workplace, partly on a promise to repeal the state’s six-week abortion ban—a regulation he helped move in 2019. “It’s certainly not a political change. This is too big of an issue to just politicize, in my opinion. This has really been a heart change,” says Duncan.
