The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is completely happy to announce the launch of the Introducing Flying Disc Sports at Schools eBook.

Aimed at academics in kindergarten and first colleges, the useful resource introduces all Flying Disc disciplines, their totally different gear, directions to train primary expertise, and over thirty (30) totally different actions for the context.

“With recent research highlighting that children are not meeting the recommended levels of physical activity and its benefits, we wanted to provide a resource to provide more options for teachers,” Chair of the Commission, José Amoroso, acknowledged. “We believe that including Flying Disc sports in activities and curriculums at such a crucial age supports the development of fundamental movement, social and behavioral skills.”

Introducing Flying Disc Sports Schools eBook builds upon earlier sources focused in direction of rising Flying Disc sports activities within the training system corresponding to “Ultimate at Schools Program”, published in 2020.

“The World Flying Disc Federation’s mission is to ‘to support and promote the inclusive growth and development of all Flying Disc sports and Spirit of the Game’; this eBook with content and activities to provide teaching professionals the information and actionable steps they need to start children on the road to participating in this mission,” stated Robert “Nob” Rauch, President of the World Flying Disc Federation. “We are confident that introducing Flying Disc sports, and their inherent physical, technical, and social skills will aid children in all areas of their lives, both on and off the field of play, and look forward to educators and young children alike learning about the fun of playing with a disc.”
