This is the ultimate call to get your entries in to the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2026.
Nominations shut at 11pm on Saturday (31 January) for the awards, which are actually of their ninth 12 months. It is free to enter online here – and it’s also possible to examine earlier winners and find out about our stellar solid of sponsors in our dedicated awards section.

There are two classes for people – CEO of the Year was received final 12 months by Eleanor Lightbody, of Luminance, whereas the AstraZeneca-sponsored Researcher of the Year was received in 2025 by Dr Nuru Noor, medical lecturer on the University of Cambridge and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Nominees in these classes can put themselves ahead, or be nominated by others. If you need to enter multiple class, you are able to do so through one type, or full the shape greater than as soon as in order for you to tailor your entry.
“Remember, if you want to share confidential information with the judging panel that can be revealed to the public, or is under embargo, then simply explain this in your entry,” stated Paul, who will host the awards on 7 May at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre, on the world-famous Wellcome Genome Campus.
Appleyard Lees, which is sponsoring AI Company of the Year, can be placing ahead the £1,500 IP Prize, which may go to any of the finalists – and will provide a bundle of bespoke IP recommendation.
