Eric Dane returns to TV in a role that leans into his ALS diagnosis


Eric Dane’s newest role might be his most private to date.

The “Euphoria” star has been speaking about his diagnosis with and remedy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis since April.

Dane appeared in an episode of “Brilliant Minds” this week, enjoying a firefighter named Matthew who additionally suffers from the progressive neurodegenerative illness often known as ALS.

The producer mentioned a part of the purpose of the Thanksgiving episode was to present “what is it like for a family to have to work through this together?”
