The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has directed institutional (private) schools to refund fees collected illegally in violation of current legal guidelines and courtroom orders.

In a press launch issued on Wednesday, the ministry mentioned complaints proceed to emerge that some schools are enrolling college students for the tutorial session 2083 forward of schedule and charging fees exceeding authorised limits, regardless of earlier warnings.

Citing provisions of the Education Act, the ministry instructed all involved schools to return unlawfully collected fees to college students. It warned that failure to comply would lead to authorized motion beneath prevailing legal guidelines, in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs, district administration places of work, and native governments.
