Morehead State University showcased the depth and scope of scholar tutorial research and artistic inquiry throughout the twenty first Annual Celebration of Student Scholarship on Wednesday, April 15.

The occasion highlights college students’ tutorial research and artistic work underneath the skilled steering and mentorship of MSU school and workers.

Including presenters and attendees, the occasion had over 300 college students and greater than 80 school mentors. There had been 109 posters and 45 oral shows, with a number of college students incomes awards and recognition for his or her work.

“One of the things that I tell my own kids almost every day before they go off to school is ‘move towards the things that scare you.’ You students have done that today,” stated Dr. Chris Schroeder, provost and vice chairman for tutorial affairs, within the occasion’s opening remarks. “You made the decision to take deliberate and purposeful steps towards something that is hard and that, most likely, was scary. But I hope you agree that it was worth it, if for no other reason than you have learned something about yourself, and that is, that you can do hard things. And we can’t wait to see what you will take on next.”
