Overall, duke shot 50% from the ground and hit12-23 on theres.

Holy Cross hit simply 19-67 photographs (67%) and 8-25 on threes (32%). You don’t all the time see that inversion and it’s not a very good signal.

Coach Kara Lawson was impressed, saying this after the sport: “Overall, I thought it was a pretty good, balanced performance for our group. We had four players in double figures and almost had four players in double-figure rebounds—we missed it there by one each. I thought that [Jordan] Wood was a great catalyst for us to start the game by knocking down those threes and just playing with great energy. And then Toby [Fournier] was just a dominant force on the interior, which is something we’ve come to expect, but it shouldn’t go unnoticed or untalked about. There’s a lot of good performances in there, but I thought those two players in particular got us off to a really good start.”

Duke is now 1-1 heading into Wednesday’s sport in opposition to Norfolk State.
