As the Research & Development Innovation (RDI) Fund strikes into the implementation part, the Department of Science and Technology (DST) has begun business consultations to fine-tune its rollout. Addressing startups, innovators and business representatives at an RDI Outreach occasion, DST Secretary Prof Abhay Karandikar mentioned the fund will help initiatives at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4 to six, serving to bridge the hole between lab-scale prototypes and market-ready merchandise.
