Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) hosted the twenty fourth Indo-US Joint Technical Group Plenary Meeting to advance cooperation in Defence Science and Technologies. The two-day assembly concluded in New Delhi yesterday. During the assembly, the delegations reviewed the continued cooperation in defence science and know-how. They mentioned related challenges and examined proposals to additional strengthen collaboration in essential and rising defence applied sciences to meet the evolving necessities.

The assembly was co-chaired by DRDO Director General of Production Coordination and Services Interaction, Dr Chandrika Kaushik and Assistant Secretary of War for Critical Technologies, Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering, Mr Michael Francis Dodd.
The assembly concerned participation of senior officers, scientists, and technocrats representing establishments and laboratories beneath the US Department of War and the Department of State, together with DRDO scientists and officers from India’s Tri-Services, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of External Affairs, and the National Security Council Secretariat.
