Sneh Punia Bangar is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Packaging Science and Graphic Media at Rochester Institute of Technology, New York. Prior to this appointment, she labored as a postdoctoral researcher within the Department of Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Sciences at Clemson University, SC, USA. Her analysis pursuits embody the extraction and characterization of novel and sustainable supplies, with a selected concentrate on starches, modified starches, nanocomposite movies and coatings, and paper-based packaging programs. She has authored or co-authored greater than 150 analysis/assessment articles, 15 authored/edited books, 35 e book chapters, and 20 convention proceedings/seminars. Currently, she is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Food Measurement and Characterization (Springer), an editorial board member of the International Journal of Food Science and Technology (Wiley), Academic editor of the Journal of Food Quality (Hindawi), and a Section Editor of Current Food Science and Technology Reports (Springer).
Her vital contributions to academia and analysis have been acknowledged with the “Award of Honour” in 2019 for her excellent achievements. Dr. Bangar obtained the “Professor Gurcharan Bains Award” from the Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (India) in 2023 for her excellent contributions to Food Science and Technology. Also, she has been listed (2023, 2024 and 2025) in “World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists,” printed by Stanford University, USA.
