The Department of Energy (DOE) recognized 26 science and expertise challenges it goals to deal with via its Genesis Mission whereas advancing synthetic intelligence (AI) innovation and discovery.

Some of the 26 challenges embody scaling biotechnologies, accelerating fusion power, discovering quantum algorithms, harnessing nuclear information and analysis, realizing quantum techniques for discovery, and attaining AI-driven autonomous laboratories.
DOE mentioned addressing the challenges would assist it modernize and safe the nation’s energy grid and digitize eight many years of nuclear analysis right into a safe, searchable useful resource to information future power and safety technique.
