Culture Minister inaugurates startup, science project idea showcasing in Magura

DHAKA, June 12, 2026 (BSS) – A ‘Startup, Science Project and Innovation Idea Showcasing Program-2026’ below the Educational Excellence Support Scheme
(EESS) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education was held at present.
Organized by the Ministry of Education, the inauguration of the occasion was held on the Mohammadpur Upazila Parishad corridor room in Magura.
Cultural Affairs minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury inaugurated the programme because the chief visitor with Mohammadpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Bedbati Mistri
in the chair.
The minister stated the current period is the age of science and expertise, and progressive considering and artistic initiatives of scholars will play a significant
position in constructing a affluent Bangladesh of the longer term.
He burdened the significance of fostering scientific mindset, analysis orientation and entrepreneurial spirit amongst college students.
After the inauguration, the minister visited numerous exhibition stalls showcasing college students’ progressive initiatives and science-based shows from
totally different instructional establishments.
During the exhibition, college students offered a spread of improvements together with robotics, automated irrigation programs, environmentally pleasant applied sciences
and agriculture-based options.
Awards had been distributed amongst college students for one of the best progressive initiatives on the day-long exhibition.
