CPUGAD TBI and its incubated startups, Kuray Innovations, ArticuLit, and HEX Technology, proudly showcased their reef restoration, AI-powered EdTech, and good greenhouse farming options, respectively, on the 2025 Regional Science and Technology Week in Western Visayas, exemplifying CPU’s dedication to innovation, neighborhood affect, and sustainable improvement.
The much-awaited Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) VI 2025 formally opened on September 10, 2025, at Robinsons Roxas City, gathering innovators, startups, researchers, college students, LGUs, MSMEs, and companions from throughout Western Visayas. Hosted by the Department of Science and Technology Region VI (DOST VI) in partnership with Capiz State University (CapSU), the Roxas City LGU, the Provincial Government of Capiz, and Robinsons Roxas, the three-day celebration from September 10–12 showcased the transformative energy of science, expertise, and innovation in constructing good and sustainable communities.
Representing Central Philippine University in this landmark regional innovation occasion, the CPU CPUGAD Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and its incubated startups proudly joined the displays, exemplifying their mantra: “Nesting Ideas, Incubating Success.” Through incubation, concepts are nurtured, refined, and launched into impactful options that deal with real-world challenges.
CPUGAD TBI Startups in RSTW 2025 Exhibits
Three CPUGAD TBI incubated startups showcased their improvements in completely different themed displays in the course of the week:
- Kuray Innovations joined the Blue Economy Exhibit, with CEO Kiara Bonifacio and COO Lois Senegocio presenting their reef restoration applied sciences that intention to revive fish populations and strengthen the livelihoods of coastal communities. Their work highlights how sustainable marine options can assist safe a bluer future for generations to return.
- ArticuLit featured on the Next Gen Learning Exhibit, led by CEO Basil Jermanos Amso and COO John Lloyd Panizales. Their AI-powered EdTech platform transforms passive listening and studying into lively, literacy-focused studying. With personalised, adaptive instruments and real-time suggestions, ArticuLit is designed to reinforce core literacy expertise and unlock the total potential of learners.
- HEX Technology, a CPUGAD TBI spinoff incubatee, showcased GROWT (Greenhouse Remote Optimization with Wireless Technologies) on the Smart Harvests Exhibit introduced by Engr. Gelvie Lagosm, CEO and Founder of HEX Technology and CPUGAD TBI Project Leader. GROWT is an IoT-enabled platform designed to rework greenhouse farming into a sensible, automated, and sustainable system, empowering farmers to watch and handle key environmental components for extra environment friendly and greener harvests.

By collaborating in the RSTW VI 2025 displays, CPUGAD TBI and its startups demonstrated the vibrancy of Central Philippine University’s innovation ecosystem and its position in advancing the regional objectives of sustainable improvement.
