On April 8, commencing at 4:45 p.m. for roughly 10 minutes, Foreign Minister MOTEGI Toshimitsu obtained a courtesy name from Dr. OKI Taikan, newly appointed as the Science and Technology Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs on April 1. The overview of the assembly is as follows.
- At the outset, Minister MOTEGI talked about that science and know-how have gotten more and more essential in the worldwide group, and he requested recommendation on how to successfully promote science and know-how diplomacy.
