The WNBA is coming to CNBC.
On Wednesday, the community, owned by guardian firm Versant, introduced that it’ll simulcast 11 WNBA matchups this season. Coverage begins Wednesday night, starting with a Las Vegas Aces and Phoenix Mercury matchup at 10 p.m. ET. The games may even air on USA Network, which Versant oversees.
USA Network signed an 11-year media rights deal with the WNBA final season. As a part of the settlement, USA Network will air 50 games in 2026, together with the playoffs and the WNBA Finals in choose years.
“It’s really a promise that we make to not only the WNBA, but all our league partners that we’ll look for new audiences for them,” (*11*).
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham may even make her broadcasting debut on Wednesday when USA Network airs a New York Liberty and Chicago Sky recreation at 8 p.m. ET, adopted by the aforementioned Aces and Mercury recreation at 10 p.m. ET.
Cunningham signed on with the community earlier this yr as a WNBA contributor and studio analyst.
