Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has authorised the project of establishing Andhra Pradesh Futuristic Innovation and Research in Science and Technology (AP FIRST) in Tirupati. The project goals to arrange the longer term generations to fulfill the evolving trade necessities.

The AP FIRST shall be developed as the biggest and most prestigious analysis centre in the State, combining the strengths of two premier nationwide establishments—IIT, Tirupati and IISER, Tirupati.

Drone expertise
The Chief Minister directed the officers to strengthen the Drone Corporation, develop the usage of drones in the agriculture sector and through medical emergencies, and examine superior ideas similar to drone taxis and drone ambulances.
He instructed officers to discover the feasibility of a Drone Traffic Control Management System in coordination with the Centre.
