The City of Rogers is taking an preliminary step to strengthen and streamline youth programming in the neighborhood. Following motion by the Rogers City Council on Tuesday evening, the City has authorized funding to help staffing and bills wanted to absolutely function Rogers Activity Center (RAC) programming below the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.

For a long time, the RAC has been operated via a partnership between the City of Rogers and Rogers Community School Recreation Association, a nonprofit group. The RAC has been a cornerstone of youth sports activities, camps, and after-school care in Rogers. Generations of households have participated in packages supplied via the middle, making it a valued half of the group.
