Hollywood mourned the deaths of some of its most legendary stars in 2026.
The 12 months began off with Broadway performer and influencer Bret Hanna-Shuford’s loss of life at age 46. At the top of the month, comedy appearing icon Catherine O’Hara died at age 71.
In February, Designing Women’s Camilla Carr died at age 83, Dawson’s Creek actor James Van Der Beek died at age 48, Harold and Maude star Bud Cort died at 77, Robert Duvall died at age 95 and actor Eric Dane died at age 53. That similar month, Lizzie McGuire actor Robert Carradine‘s household confirmed his loss of life on February 23.
Dallas star Annabel Schofield, former NASCAR driver Chase Pistone, actor Chuck Norris, Supernatural star Carrie Anne Fleming, NHL reporter Jessi Pierce, bluegrass singer Ronnie Bowman, actress Valerie Perrine Married at First Sight UK relationship skilled Mel Schilling, actor James Tolkan and Alex Duong all died in March.
In April, hip-hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa died at age 68 of issues from most cancers, Downton Abbey alum Nathalie Baye died after a battle with dementia, Days of Our Lives actor Patrick Muldoon died following a coronary heart assault and singer Alan Osmond died at age 76. General Hospital star Rif Hutton additionally died in April on the age of 73, whereas Traffic guitarist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason died at age 79.
The following month, information broke that NCS founder Ted Turner had died at 87.
