The Carbondale Area Junior/Senior High School Science and Technology Club lately hosted a “Blast Off to Summer” STEM Night for college kids in grades 4-6.
During the hands-on studying occasion, elementary college students discovered how ice cream is made and received to make their very own. At one other station, college students explored the science of buoyancy by designing and constructing boats, then racing them down a water channel. They additionally found chemical reactions by creating elephant toothpaste and do-it-yourself lava lamps.
Each exercise was led by members of the Science and Technology Club, who deliberate participating classes and guided the younger scientists by every experiment.
