Analysts estimate the war in opposition to Iran is costing American taxpayers greater than $890 million a day, based mostly on identified army operations and congressional price estimates. The spending covers air and naval operations, floor forces, weapons programs and missile interceptions, with the early part of the battle proving the most costly.
