CAA Softball Weekly Awards – March 17, 2026
RICHMOND, Va. – UNCW’s Allison Corbin and Camille Hamilton captured CAA Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, whereas Charleston’s Bronwyn Conroy secured her third Rookie of the Week accolade on Tuesday.
Player of the Week
Allison Corbin, UNCW
Junior | C/INF | Stevensville, Md.
Corbin helped information UNCW to a weekend convention sweep of North Carolina A&T with .667/.700/.889 slash line, three runs scored and a trio of RBIs. The junior opened the slate with a 2-for-3 exhibiting on the dish with a double, an RBI and a run scored. The Stevensville, Md., native unloaded a 3-for-3 exhibiting on the dish, scoring twice and driving within the eventual game-winning run on a double to the middle discipline wall on Saturday. Hamilton tossed the primary recorded good recreation in UNCW softball historical past on Friday to open CAA play with a six-inning win over N.C. A&T. The Seahawks’ pitcher grew to become simply the second freshman within the nation to hurl an ideal recreation this season, becoming a member of Alabama’s Kaitlyn Pallozzi. The Garner, N.C., native struck out a season-high 11 Aggies throughout six innings of labor and tossed simply 69 pitches within the profitable effort. Rookie of the Week
Bronwyn Conroy, Charleston

Conroy helped Charleston choose up a pair of wins over Campbell on the street, tallying three hits, 4 runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases. After falling in Friday’s sequence opener, the Marietta, Ga., product slapped an RBI triple to spark a three-run fifth inning that put the Cougars forward in Saturday’s 4-3 win over the Camels. Her velocity was on full show in Sunday’s 10-9 victory as Conroy went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a pair of steals. The freshman outfielder slashed .444/.474/.611 within the six video games for Charleston final week.
