BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – The Bridge Sports Complex held Monotonous Miles Saturday morning, the second race in its “Bridge to Victory” race collection.
The occasion featured 50 rivals ranging in age from youngsters to adults. Runners accomplished laps round a 0.87-mile loop for 3 hours, with the objective of finishing essentially the most laps.
The race was created by Alyson Piot, assistant basic supervisor at The Bridge Sports Complex and a former endurance runner, who mentioned nothing prefer it existed within the space.
“I thought it would be a great way to, a great training run, maybe a competitive way to compete against friends, or just something to do on a Saturday morning when it’s 40 degrees and a gorgeous morning,” Piot mentioned.
The subsequent race within the “Bridge to Victory” collection shall be a triathlon in August.
