Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker is not going to return subsequent season.
The group made it official Wednesday morning simply forward of its end-of-the- season information convention.

Snitker, who turns 70 later this month and was an element of the Braves group for 49 years. His contract with the group expired at midnight on October 1st. He spent his time in the group since 1976 as a participant, coach and manager. Snitker shall be taking up a brand new function as a particular advisor to General Manager Alex Anthopolous
After his 800th win earlier in September, Channel 2 sports activities director Zach Klein requested if Anthopolous had conversations with Snitker about his future.
He mentioned they’d save these talks for after the common season ended, however mentioned Snitker has earned his spot in Braves historical past. In their announcement Wednesday morning, Anthopolous mentioned that Snitker can be inducted to the Braves Hall of Fame throughout the 2026 season.
“Snit’s going to be in this organization forever. I’m not the owner obviously… But Snit will be part of this organization no matter what, well past when I’m here. He’s Braves for life,” Anthopoulos mentioned.

The Braves season ended on September twenty eighth. The group completed fourth in NL East with a 76-86 document and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
Snitker holds a 811-668 profession document in 9 seasons as Atlanta’s manager.
