MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Days after stepping down as Bassett head soccer coach, Brandon Johnson has been tabbed as director of athletics and pupil engagement at Patrick & Henry Community College. The transfer might be efficient June 10.

In Johnson’s new position, he’ll lead a division comprising roughly 125 student-athletes throughout ten males’s and girls’s applications. Johnson steps into an athletics program that has constructed vital momentum throughout its groups, competed on the nationwide stage, received convention titles, and established a tradition of excellence on the sector and within the classroom.

Johnson has been a pacesetter in native athletics for greater than 15 years. Most just lately, he served as head soccer coach at Bassett High School (BHS), the place he oversaw a complete program rooted in whole pupil improvement.
