Longtime faculty basketball assistant Luke Murray is getting his first head teaching job.
According to ESPN, Murray, the son of legendary actor Bill Murray, is set to be the brand new males’s basketball coach at Boston College. He’s been an assistant coach at UConn since 2021 and performed an important function on the teaching workers because the Huskies received back-to-back nationwide championships in 2023 and 2024.

Boston College was searching for a coach after firing Earl Grant on the finish of the season. The Eagles haven’t been to the NCAA event since 2009 and haven’t had a successful season since going 19-16 beneath coach Jim Christian in 2018.
