he Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has selected three Indian startups, together with two from Bengaluru, as the primary set of Indian Non-Governmental Entities (NGEs) for funding under its Technology Adoption Fund (TAF) Scheme.

Bengaluru-based Astrobase Space Technologies and SatSure Analytics India, and Hyderabad-based TM2SPACE Technologies are the start-ups selected under the scheme

IN-SPACe stated that the three startups have been selected following a rigourous multi-stage analysis course of carried out by professional committee comprising members from ISRO, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the Department of Science and Technology (DST), business, and tutorial establishments. They are eligible for monetary assist to develop transformative space applied sciences geared toward strengthening India’s indigenous capabilities and enhancing its international competitiveness within the space sector.

Astrobase Space Technologies Private Limited will develop a high-thrust Closed-Cycle Liquid Rocket Engine (800 kN) for space launch autos. The venture goals to develop an 800 kN-class reusable LOX-LNG rocket engine with excessive effectivity, and modular structure for medium-to-heavy carry launch autos, serving as a industrial propulsion answer for next-generation launch programs and orbital levels.

SatSure Analytics India Private Limited will develop Dhaarini, a Large Earth Observation Model (LOM) designed to function India’s foundational AI platform for distant sensing functions. These projects are not just innovative concepts; they are practical, market-ready solutions that will increase our footprint in the global space economy.”

Rajeev Jyoti, Director – Technical Directorate, IN-SPACe, stated, “IN-SPACe followed a rigourous, multi-stage evaluation process, selecting these three entities for funding. Spanning a reusable high-thrust rocket engine, a foundational EO-AI platform, and indigenous high-accuracy star trackers, these projects address critical technology gaps, and have strong real-world potential to enhance India’s space capabilities. IN-SPACe received several proposals, and these three were selected as they closely aligned with the objectives and criteria of the TAF scheme.”

IN-SPACe will present continued technical steerage, monitoring, and milestone-linked disbursement of funds to make sure profitable implementation of the selected tasks.

The Technology Adoption Fund is designed to assist Indian business in absorbing, adapting, and commercialising superior space applied sciences, thereby bridging the hole between analysis and operational deployment.
