DHAKA, March 21, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh has signed its Fifth Country Programme Framework (CPF) with the International Atomic Energy Agency for the interval 2026–2032, marking a big step in strengthening technical cooperation within the peaceable use of nuclear expertise.
According to an official launch issued right now, the settlement was signed on March 18 in Vienna, Austria. Md. Anwar Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, signed the framework on behalf of Bangladesh, whereas Hua Liu, Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Technical Cooperation, signed on behalf of the IAEA.
