Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) has lauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s strategic management, coverage route, and huge investments in training, innovation, and technology focused at making youngsters in the state productive at dwelling and exportable overseas.

Executive chairman, Dr. Vera Nwadinobi, made the commendation on the fifth version of the Science and Technology Exhibition for Public Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in the State.

The occasion was organised by ASUBEB headquarters in Awka, the place the younger scientists showcased varied types of improvements produced with various supplies from the speedy atmosphere.

“It also provides a unique platform for pupils and students to demonstrate practical knowledge, originality, and problem-solving skills through science and technology-driven ideas to equip our children with the skills required to adapt, innovate, and excel in a rapidly evolving global environment”, she noticed.

In a keynote deal with, Prof. Dennis Aribodor, who spoke on the occasion’s theme, “STEM and Society,” pressured that STEM is about individuals, society, and the alternatives individuals make about data, which may produce a purposeful society.

Aribodor, a professor of Public Health Parasitology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, known as for innovation with duty to make sure that STEM training is completed with ethics, values, fairness, and a sustainable imaginative and prescient in offering at the moment’s options that change communities tomorrow.

He appealed to educators, coverage makers, trade leaders, mother and father, and learners to make use of STEM to form the society they want to stay in.
